Today, I visited Kara Hair for the first time, and I’m thrilled to share my experience! Previously, I used to drive all the way to North York for a good Korean hair salon, as finding one in Mississauga was a challenge. Since Kara Hair recently opened, I decided to give it a try—and I’m so glad I did! Parking was super convenient, right in front of the salon, and the place was spotless, reflecting its newness. The salon is run by a lovely husband-and-wife duo who were so friendly and welcoming. The wife, who is the hairstylist, impressed me with her skill and attention to detail, delivering a perfect 10/10 result. It was my first time at Kara Hair today and I had an amazing experience. The service was very efficient, the atmosphere was very welcoming but also professional, and lastly, the customers were satisfied with the service and hair results. I had a simple woman’s hair cut. Before, my hair felt very heavy. However, after the haircut, my hair feels a lot lighter now. It also looks very neat and tidy. When my hair was shampooed and washed, I was able to relax and destress. The salon’s atmosphere is also really nice- the Korean music songs played were very catchy. The parking was also accessible and it wasn’t hard to find the salon. I would definitely recommend other people to get hair done in KARA HAIR! ~ T C

Great experience! Upon entering the salon I couldn't help but notice the beautiful decor and music that wrapped itself around the room, and was soon greeted by a pleasant woman who was all smiles. Although my family and I originally scheduled for a single haircut, Kara was so considerate and flexible, allowing for an additional three people to not only get their hair cut, but also permed. I am sure she was aware of the time dedication that this would take, yet she still handled the situation with expertise and grace. Throughout the process, she and her husband were extremely kind, taking time to ensure that the customers were getting the attention that they needed and went even far as to tend to our conditions. Today, I took my 9-year-old son to Kara Hair, and we had such a wonderful experience! From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. The parking right in front of the salon was convenient, and the space was clean and inviting. The husband-and-wife team running the salon were incredibly friendly and made my son feel completely at ease. I later found out they have two sons around my son’s age, which might explain why they were so great with children. The stylist was patient and attentive, taking the time to ensure my son’s haircut was exactly what we wanted. I went to the hair salon for a quick trim and was surprised to discover there was a new owner. Despite feeling a bit nervous at first, I decided to go through with the haircut. The new owner, Kara, suggested a root volume hair perm to give natural volume to the top and back of my hair, and I agreed. Kara also examined my scalp and confirmed that it's healthy. I'm really happy with the outcome - my haircut looks even better than I anticipated. I appreciate Kara's expertise. Moreover, I noticed they provide treatments for hair loss and different types of hair perms, like the digital hair perm. I'm thinking about trying the hair loss treatment next time. It was my first visit today and it will certainly not be my last. Before getting started, Kara made sure to assess the condition of my hair and recommended a keratin treatment over a straight perm (which is what I had initially intended to get along with a colour). I am so grateful for her advice and also for the great care she put into the whole process: colouring, cutting and doing the keratin treatment. My hair feels silky smooth, I love my new colour and cut is exactly what I needed! Kara and her husband Danny are a great team - so friendly and personable! It was an A+ experience! I got both a digital perm and hair color done at the same time, which other salons told me wasn’t possible—but Kara Hair made it happen flawlessly. The entire process took about 5 hours and 30 minutes, which honestly felt very efficient considering the complexity of doing both treatments together. What impressed me the most is that my hair feels completely undamaged. The results exceeded my expectations—my hair looks healthy, vibrant, and beautifully styled. I recently visited Kara Hair and I am very impressed with Kara and Danny for their professionalism and talent! Kara is incredibly talented and friendly! She knows exactly how to bring out the best results. I am very impressed with the high level professional products and equipment she uses for her clients. During this visit, I had hair cut and perm, they were all beautifully done!!! I also got scalp treatment, it was great! So refreshing and so relaxing! I still can feel the detox effect now! before and after below! first time ever going to a salon, asked for a dark red wine color and they delivered very well. no bleach was used, and for my hair the price was $250. i will say i think i should personally have chosen a more purple-ish color but that’s on me! the service was lovely, the space was bright and comfortable and everyone was super efficient and friendly. since it wasn’t busy in the morning i had multiple people working on me and i was out of the door after 2 and a half hours. for a first salon experience i’m very satisfied and will definitely come back again. thank you KARA! ~ maya c

I took my mom for a perm and a cut for myself and I am so happy that I did! We have been looking for a great Korean hair salon in Mississauga for awhile and Kara Hair is a gem of a find. The owners are super friendly and Kara is so talented. We found this hidden gem of a hair salon while searching on Google, and it truly exceeded all our expectations! The owner’s haircutting skills are absolutely amazing. He styled my husband’s hair perfectly to suit the shape of his head, and it looks incredibly sharp and flattering. What impressed me even more was how he handled our oldest daughter, who usually hates getting her hair cut. This time was completely different—after her haircut, she couldn’t stop smiling and saying how pretty she felt! The owner took the time to ask her questions throughout, making sure to understand what she liked, and carefully tailored the style to match her preferences. That kind of attention and care really made a difference. It turned into such a happy experience for our whole family. We left feeling so satisfied and grateful. I LOVE this hair salon! KARA is very professional and her supporting husband is very helpful. They both are so kind, polite, friendly and welcoming. They are such a lovely couple working so hard to provide the best customer experience. I just love how much my hair transformed, and the whole experience of being in this salon, which is very clean, neat and tidy with all the new equipments and great hair products from Korea. I had a wonderful haircut experience this morning! It was my first visit, and I made the appointment last week with no issues. The staff were very friendly, and communication was easy. The haircut turned out exactly as I wanted. The hairdresser is clearly very skilled, and I was really impressed. She also uses high-quality products, and my hair has never felt better after a haircut! I opted for a wash as well, and given the time and care she put into washing and drying my thick, long hair, the extra fee was absolutely worth it. My first time at Kara Hair Salon and will come back everytime for a digital perm. They have the best in class machine that is very fast. It doesn't heat up like the old machines and even has a fan to help reducing heat. The salon is run by the hairdresser herself and her husband. They are very kind, hard working and very skillful. They use the most premium Korean hair products on customers' hair. I came with extremely dry and out-of-shape hair and left with the wavy hair I've been dreaming of. If you haven't been here, give Kara a try and support their business. You won't disappoint. ~ Jenny D

I visited Kara hair for down perm before my trip! Actually I visited the other hair salon in Mississauga, but they convinced me not to do down perm which was my purpose and I had to get only haircut. After that, I found this place for the down perm luckily, I got down perm by the owner and even fixed the wrong hair-cut from the other place. I felt bad and tried to pay additional charge for haircut, but she said that’s okay. Willing to visit this amazing place again, owner is super professional, kind and skillful. Appreciate a lot! I had been keeping my hair long for a long time, but I finally decided to go for a short bob for a change. I was honestly a bit nervous it might not turn out the way I wanted, but Kara did such an amazing job. She really understood the style I was going for and made it look exactly how I imagined. I had an amazing first time experience at Kara Hair Salon. The owners, Kara and Danny were so friendly, kind and very knowledgeable about natural Korean Hair products! I’m from Taiwan. This was my first time (November 16th) color my hair abroad, and I have no idea which salon style I prefer. I found Kara online and when I saw the pictures, I booked an appointment right away. Kara is cute and friendly! Thanks Kara for helping me fix my uneven hair color and giving me a fantastic shade. “I love it!” The dye she used was also amazing; even after bleaching my hair so many times, it wasn't dry! My wife had a hair straightening treatment from them… they used all the Korean products. Result came out really well. Both husband and wife were really friendly and they charged a good price for my hair. I have dense heavy hair and they did really great job. Thankyou Kara. Definitely from now onwards you are our only salon to go to in future. They also did my haircut too and gave me a good hair wash. Me and my wife are super happy With the service.
